The Experience

The Vineyard Tour

Take a morning stroll through the vines with our experienced guide to learn about our grapes, the vine lifecycle, and why our vineyard here in Mereworth, Kent, is the best site Stephen Skelton MW has been involved in planting in his career.

The ground is quite hilly and uneven in places, so wear appropriate footwear and bring a camera – the views are magnificent. Please note that due to the terrain, this experience is not suitable for pushchairs, so children must be able to walk or be carried.

The Self-Guided Wine Flight

After the tour, enjoy a relaxed self-guided tasting of Yotes Court wines, with a table reserved for you in the Wine Barn or out on the Paddock Lawn, depending on the weather.

You can choose between a Still Wine Flight, featuring four Yotes Court still wines (approx. 50ml each), or a Sparkling Wine Flight, showcasing three of our sparkling wines (approx. 50ml each).

You’ll receive a £10 voucher towards takeaway purchases of six bottles or more. To guide your tasting, you’ll also receive a beautifully designed booklet that introduces each wine and shares the stories behind them, making the experience as informative as it is enjoyable.

For your wine flight, we will reserve a table for you, either outside on the Paddock Lawn in the sunshine or inside the Wine Barn, depending on the weather. You’ll be able to order a light lunch from our menu, which you can view below.

The Tour start time is 11:30am. From April to October, the Vineyard tour and Self-guided Wine Flights run once a day Wednesday to Sunday.

The tour is 45 minutes (approx.) with the self-guided tasting to be enjoyed at your own pace. We invite you to join us in our Cellar Door or on our Paddock Lawn before and after your experience. We serve our sustainably-certified English wine by the glass with nibbles 12:00pm – 5:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday, March to October.

Please note we are closed on Bank Holiday Mondays.

We’re delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs on this experience! Please ensure they are kept on leads at all times to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

Children are welcome to join, and those under 18 can attend free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Accompanied children will also receive a complimentary bottle of Roughway Farm Apple Juice or a Taywell Ice Cream.

Please note that due to the terrain, this experience is not suitable for pushchairs, so children must be able to walk or be carried. We kindly ask that children are supervised at all times to ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful and relaxed visit.
